How To Get Printer Free From Error State ?
Ensure That The Printer Status Is Not ‘Offline’
Follow these steps to make sure that your printer is not offline-

    1. Go to the search bar on Windows and open ‘Run’ dialog box. Enter ‘Control panel’ in the search box and hit ‘OK’.
    2. Select the option ‘Devices and Printers’
    3. Now from the displayed printer list, right click on your shown HP printer and uncheck the option “use printer offline”.
    4. Be sure to set printer in “Default Printer” Mode

If your printer is showing in error state, make sure you select your printer in default mode. You can do this by following these steps –
    1. Click on start menu of your Windows and type in “Run” to open dialog box.
    2. Now, type “Control Panel” and hit OK button.
    3. From the control panel, select option of “Devices and Printers”.
    4. Then, go to your shown HP printer from the list of printers and right click on it. Thereafter, select the option of “Set as Default Printer” from the list.
    5. Now a Green check mark will appear on your HP printer icon, signaling that your printer is set as default.

Hope you find this information helpful.
    Regards,
    Jake Paul.

    Solution 1: Restore a backup
You can restore a backup copy of your file to make sure that it works well as new. You can easily accomplish it with these steps:

    1. Open the company file.
    2. Click on the File
    3. Select the Utilities
    4. In case the Stop Hosting Multi-user access is on the list, then you should click on.
    5. Also, edit your company file name to include less than 210 characters long. Try and incorporate a name that only displays the important details, and nothing else.

Solution 2: Configure your firewall and your Anti-virus software.

    1. Open your QuickBooks Database Manager.
    2. Find the port monitor tab, and find the QuickBooks version.
    3. Make sure you note the Firewall port number.
    4. Open your Windows Firewall.
    5. Click on Advanced Settings.
    6. Right-click on the inbounds option, and select the option for New Rule.
    7. Click on Port.
    8. Click next.

This should solve the error being faced.

Step 1: Check your ageing accounts receivable
Review other invoices or receivables that should be considered as bad debt using the Accounts Receivable Ageing Detail report.

    1. Go to the Reports menu.
    2. Find and open an Accounts Receivable Ageing Detail report.
    3. Check which outstanding accounts receivable should be written off.

Step 2: Create a bad debts expense account
If you haven’t already, create a “bad debts” expense account.

    1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts.
    2. At the upper right, select New to create a new account.
    3. From the Account Type ▼ dropdown, select Expenses.
    4. From the Detail Type, select Bad debts.
    5. Select Save and Close.

Step 3: Create a bad debt item
If you haven’t already, create a non-inventory item as a place holder for the bad debt. This isn’t a real item, it’s just to balance the accounting.

    1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Products and Services.
    2. At the upper right, select New, and then Non-inventory.
    3. In the Name field, enter “Bad debts.”

    5. Select Save and Close.

Step 4: Create a credit note for the bad debt
    1. Select + New.
    2. Select Credit note.
    3. Select the customer from the Customer ▼ drop-down.
    4. In the Product/Service section, select Bad debts.
    5. In the Amount column, enter the amount you want to write off.
    6. In the Message displayed on statement box, enter “Bad Debt.”
    7. Select Save and Close.

Step 5: Apply the credit note to the invoice
    1. Select + New.
    2. Under Customers, select Receive payment.
    3. From the Customer ▼ dropdown, select the appropriate customer.
    4. From the Outstanding Transactions section, select the invoice.
    5. From the Credits section, select the credit note.
    6. Select Save and Close.
    7. The uncollectible receivable now appears on your Profit and Loss report under the Bad Debts expense account.

Step 6: Run a bad debts report
You can run an Account QuickReport to check all the receivables you tagged as bad debt. To do this:

    1. Go to Settings ⚙.
    2. Select Chart of Accounts.
    3. In the Action column of the bad debts account, select Run report.

Hope this method helps you out.

    Verifying the Internet Explorer settings
You need to ensure that the Internet explorer is set as the default browser and then only move ahead and carry out the steps:

    1. Make sure that the date and time of the system are correct.
    2. After that, double click the Time display option.
    3. And then rectify the date and time, only if needed.
    4. The next step is to choose the time zone and then select the correct time zone.
    5. Followed by verifying the Cipher strength.
    6. Once done with that, you should move to the official Intuit website.
    7. And then, press the Alt key to see the menu bar.
    8. Moving ahead, you need to click on the file and then select properties option.
    9. Check the number under connection and then phrase bit encryption.
    10. Now, you need to update settings through the tools and then move on to Internet options.
    11. And then select tools option first and then internet options.
    12. The next step is to choose all temporary files and then delete them by pressing delete key.
    13. Once done with that move to the connections tab and then choose LAN settings.
    14. Moving ahead, you need to select the checkbox next to automatically detect settings.
    15. Also, ensure that proxy servers are blank, if you don’t plan to use any of them.
    16. And then, scroll down in advanced tab and then mark SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.
    17. The next step is to verify the publisher’s certificate and then clear the box next to that.
    18. And again, scroll down till the bottom of the list on advanced tab.
    19. The last step is to ensure that the TLS 2.0 should remain unchecked and you are good to go.

    Regard,
    Jake Paul.
