I was doing some basic WP plug in updates when my site gave me a 500 error. I went to the server and disconnected plugins until I found the culprit. When I got the site working again – my header image stopped working – not visible. But it is visible in the Customize – Header area. I have re-uploaded it and tried with and without various plug ins. Nothing. I can’t sort out why this is not working.
Suggestions?
Update – I found the theme is not working with Siteorigin Page Builder. Is there something equivalent that may work?
Update – Page Builder appears to be working. I went back to my development copy, and reinstalled it. From there I methodically updated plugins and found the only issue is that Main Image is just not visible. I have changed all heading settings and tried different images – and nothing. The rest of the page is working fine now even with Page Builder and I was able to update with no breaks.
So what could be causing the Header image to disappear?
